Call for Protest & Rally against University funding cuts

NRW cuts Back - You pay with your Future

The state government of North Rhine-Westphalia wants to cut €158 million from North Rhine-Westphalian universities starting in 2026 – that is as much as the entire budget of the University of Siegen.

Fewer tutorials, overcrowded seminars, job cuts, longer study times – and students losing their SHK jobs.

We say: Enough cuts! Education is not something to be saved on.

Protest and rally on November 5 in Düsseldorf Start: 1 p.m. at the main train station | Rally: 3 p.m. at the state parliament
