CIMD: Witching hour (FLINTA*-only & BIPOC*, Internationals-friendly)
The sky is gray and overcast, leaves crunch underfoot, and jack-o'-lanterns light the way to many a front door. It’s fall, and in keeping with Halloween—or Samhain (or so that we have good reasons to go to college even in this dark season and in dreary weather), we invite you to a magical evening.
After a brief introduction to the topic of witches, we'll do crafts, crochet, draw, and/or just hang out and chat.
You're also welcome to join us later.
Let's reclaim the term “witch” together and have a magical time in the coven!
Why only for FLINTA? In the current social and political climate, people facing multiple forms of marginalization are severely affected by discrimination, and it is precisely these students who come to us seeking not only counseling but also safe spaces. The majority of these students are FLINTA*. In the past, we repeatedly received requests from members of the CIMND status group to organize “FLINTA* only” events. We do our best to take the needs of our status group into account. For non-FLINTA* people, we offer events for everyone in the status group as well as for other groups.
When? Thursday, 29.10.26, 18:15-20:00 Uhr
Where? Seminarraum 3/4 Hörsaalzentrum, Campus Poppelsdorf
We're looking forward to seeing you!
Please note: This event is open only for FLINTA* (i.e., women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans, and agender people) who also belong to the CIMND* status group.
