What? In April and October you can buy a new bike and accessories!

Where? Hofgarten, in front of the main building

When? Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Next 2026 spring date is postponed

You can buy and sell used bikes and spare parts there. It works like any flea market: you should arrive as early as possible, otherwise the best bargains are already gone (half an hour before the official start)! If you want to sell a bike, you pay a small stall fee (€2.50 per bike) and depending on the condition and asking price of your bike, a buyer will be found.

Prices for roadworthy bikes start at around €30. However, high-quality racing bikes, mountain bikes and even tandems are also offered for sale. The sale is from private individuals to private individuals.

To prevent stolen bikes from being sold at the market, the ADFC notes the frame number of the bikes on offer and forwards the list to the police.

A maximum of two used bikes may be sold per person. Sellers have the opportunity to register before the sale begins. Further details are regulated in the ADFC market regulations. The ADFC will answer any questions by email (fahrradmarkt@adfc-bonn.de).

The bicycle market is organised by the Ecology Department and the Bike Workshop of the AStA in cooperation with the ADFC. You will soon find more information on registration at the ADFC Bonn/Rhein-Sieg (Website only in German).
