Bike Workshop

Due to the building works, the bike repair shop has to remain closed. We’re working on a solution as quickly as possible. We’ll let you know as soon as the shop reopens.

A flat tire, squeaky brakes, or a malfunctioning gear system? There is no need to leave your bike at a repair shop for weeks or spend a lot of money on repairs.

At the AStA Bicycle Self-Help Workshop, we support you in getting your bike back into shape yourself. We provide you with tools, a fully equipped workspace, and our expertise. Together, we find solutions for many small and larger repairs.

Using the AStA Bicycle Self-Help Workshop is free of charge for students of the University of Bonn. You only need to pay for any replacement parts required. An overview of our available spare parts can be found further down on this page.

This way, you not only save money but also learn more about how your bike works and how to carry out minor repairs yourself in the future, so that you can get back on the road quickly, safely, and reliably.

Where to Find Us

You can find us at Friedrich-Hirzebruch-Allee 5, 53115 Bonn. The bike shop is located at the back of the lecture hall complex, right next to the bike garage.
