Department of Public Relations

Welcome to the website of the Public Relations Department of the AStA of the University of Bonn!

As the Department for Public Relations, we represent the AStA of the University of Bonn to the outside world. We see ourselves as a link between the AStA and the students. We manage the AStA's social media channels and provide you with all the important information about the AStA and university politics. We offer free flyer advice for student cultural groups (for more information, see 'Flyer advice').

In addition, the Public Relations Office also organizes its own events, such as the student night flea market and the Prostseminar in cooperation with the Studierendenwerk and bonnFM. Through information stands at university or AStA events, we not only inform you about the work in the student body committees, but also want to promote more involvement. A strong student council first and foremost needs informed students who know what is happening at their university and how they can get involved within the student body. Of course, we are always available for your questions and problems, just send us an e-mail!

Flyer Advice

We offer advice for all student cultural groups on the professional production of print data. If you want to make flyers and posters for your event, transfer your logo to the digital age or simply be looking for a cool design, then you can contact us. We give you tips on idea finding, paper types, formats, colours (online and print) font selection, image sources, photo use, good text set and many topics more. Our offer is a help for self-help, the presence of technology and design program (such as Scribus, Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher) we assume from your side, whereby projects with affinity can also be discussed on our AStA computers. If you have not made yet any design and you are at the beginning of the design path, we can also accompany you on the first steps introduce the possibilities.

The public service will be provided on request weekly Wednesdays from 12 am to 2 pm in room 11. Please register before by EMail.
